Del Mar Scream Zone hits the Del Mar Fairgrounds

Here’s a deeper look at the dates, deals, and scares at Scream Zone this year: 

Dates and Times 

•  September 29 – 30 
• October 5 – 8, 11 – 15, 18 – 22, and 24 – 31 
• Fridays and Saturdays – 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. 
• Sundays thru Thursdays – 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

• Get 50 percent off opening night (Sept. 29) Triple Haunt admission  
• Get a $5 off tickets coupon at Albertsons or Vons locations 
• Enter “The Running Dead” for only $10 on Thursdays (offer good for 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26)

 Scares 

•  The House of Horror – Enter room after room of frightening surprises and visuals, from utter darkness to a hoard of clowns. 
• The Haunted Hayride – Guests take a wagon ride through the night surrounded by zombies, clowns, and other wicked characters.
• Karneval – A trailer park full of clowns and carnival of freaky and weird characters await to terrify and disorient guests. 

 The Running Dead – Lace up your shoes and run for your life through an obstacle course challenge testing your agility, speed, and nerve as your race your friends and the undead.
